About service vouchers
This regional price variation is caused by the specific subsidy schemes and policy choices of the different regions. The purpose of service vouchers is to make domestic help more accessible, but its cost may vary, depending on your registered address and on your desired amount of vouchers.
You can order service vouchers for all three regions (Flemish Region, Walloon Region and Brussels-Capital Region) from the issuing company Pluxee.
Step 1: Request a user number first
Before you can place your first order, you need a user number.
Important: Keep this number safe. You will need it as a structured communication with every order and money transfer to Pluxee.
Step 2: Order your service vouchers
Transfer the amount to the correct Pluxee account number, depending on your region:
Flemish Region: BE41 0017 7246 2610
(Minimum of 1 electronic service voucher per order)Brussels-Capital Region: BE28 0017 7246 3620
(Minimum of 10 service vouchers per order)Walloon Region: BE15 0017 7247 4330
(Minimum of 1 electronic service voucher per order)
(Minimum of 10 paper service vouchers per order)
From 1 January 2025, service vouchers that are about to expire can no longer be exchanged for new vouchers that are valid for longer.
However, you can still request a refund for (still valid) service vouchers. This is possible - free of charge - via your Secure Zone at Pluxee or by filling in a form.
About invoicing
As a service cheque company, Daenens believes it is important to provide high-quality services for our customers and to create opportunities for our household helps. That is why we want to be able to continue investing in the supervision, training, income and well-being of our many thousands of cleaners.
Unfortunately, the current financing model of home help with service cheques does not offer enough room for this. As a company, we cannot simply stand by and watch this situation passively from the sideline. Our domestic helpers and our customers are entitled to more. That is why we feel compelled to charge additional cost allowances.
You pay a surcharge per hour of work that the housekeeper has effectively worked. The contribution fee price depends on the type of service cheque you pay with. As the regulations and the value of a service voucher differs per region, the additional fee per hour of service vouchers from the user's domicile address also varies depending on the region.
As from 1 May 2025, this fee per worked hour invoiced is as follows:
For services paid by users domiciled in the Flemish Region: €1.90 per hour
For services paid by users domiciled in the Brussels-Capital Region: €0.30 per hour
For services paid by users domiciled in the Walloon Region: €1.00 per hour
With the client contribution, we ensure that our household helpers can carry out their work with the necessary recognition and support. That way, we can continue offering our clients the warm and reliable service they are used to.
The client contribution differs by region because each region determines how much subsidy it provides to the service voucher system. In some regions, the government assumes a larger share of the costs, while in others the client pays more per service voucher. That leads to differences between Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
