Makkie launches the FACT app
Allowing better communication for everyone
"With more than 50 different nationalities within our team of domestic workers, communication can be something of a challenge sometimes. Even though there already are many translation apps, they often lack specific context, causing translations to sometimes miss the mark.
An app specifically for the cleaning industry!
Makkie collaborated with the Province of West Flanders for the specific development of the FACT app for the cleaning sector. “First, we collected all possible specific vocabulary. We divided these into clear categories. Then the translation followed. Finally, the app was tested extensively. A great project on which our foreign-speaking domestic helpers gladly collaborated.”
