Daenens takes part in JINC’s ‘Baas van Morgen’ event
‘Baas van Morgen’ is an inspiring JINC Belgium event that allows youngsters to step into the shoes of CEOs, politicians and directors of major companies and organisations and take the lead for a day. Kris Moens, regional director at Daenens, is up to the task and will hand over his seat to two sixth-form pupils from the Maria Boodschap primary school in Antwerp.
JINC Belgium campaigns for a society where a child’s background does not predetermine its future and where every child is given equal opportunities. Daenens Dienstencheques has been supporting JINC Belgium for many years. Kris Moens explains why.
“As a people-focused organisation, Daenens strongly believes in providing opportunities, developing talent and helping people grow. That is why we invest every day in the guidance, training and support of our own employees. But we also want to give young people every opportunity to discover their talents and grow. What’s more, it’s a win-win situation, because as an organisation we also learn a great deal from the fresh ideas, honest insights and perspectives that the pupils bring.”
This year, it is the turn of eleven-year-olds Aydin and Annabel from the Maria Boodschap primary school in Antwerp. They are taking Kris’ place and want to apply their ideas and insights to an exciting digitalisation project within the company.
