Daenens, a proud sponsor of Miles for Smiles

Daenens is delighted to announce that we are one of the main sponsors of Miles for Smiles, a sporting event that will be taking place on Saturday March 7, 2026, in and around the BMCC in Bruges. This event is a chance to get moving, and also to make a difference on behalf of a good cause. This year, we are supporting Komerbi, a youth organisation in Bruges, hard at work helping young people in socially vulnerable situations.

Komerbi offers them a safe and caring environment where they get the space they need to discover their talents and abilities and develop them further. Thanks to the wide range of activities on offer, Komerbi helps them blossom on a personal and social level. As a proud sponsor of Miles for Smiles, we want to contribute to this mission and support the organisation in the valuable work it does.

On Saturday, March 7, teams of at least four people will try to run as many 1.6 km-laps as possible, with each kilometre raising a little more money for Komerbi. As well as a sporting challenge, there will be a great atmosphere with music, a DJ, and food and drinks for both runners and those cheering them on. In the evening, participants can relax and recover from all that effort at a fun after party.

Daenens invites all employees to take part in this event, to stretch their legs and, at the same time, give Komerbi a helping hand.
