Daenens fights loneliness, together with De Warmste Week
For many people, our household helps and consultants are an invaluable source of human contact. Together, we make a difference in the fight against loneliness. Our participation in the annual initiative of De Warmste Week helps to highlight that impact.
Bringing people closer together with a warm chat
As part of De Warmste Week, Daenens has launched its own campaign, ‘De Warmste Babbel’, which translates as the warmest chat. The idea is simple yet powerful: spare a moment of your time to engage in a real conversation with someone in our close surroundings. Whether it's a colleague, customer, neighbour or family member, a heartfelt chat can make a world of difference.
At the site www.warmstebabbel.be you can register your chats, read other heartwarming stories and even create a Christmas card. The more people take part, the more connection we can create together.

‘An elderly man came out every day to ask for the hour,’ says Nico, one of our colleagues. ‘As I told him the hour, I would hear his clock strike inside … Just having a chat, connecting, is just so important.’ Stories like this show how valuable real contact can be. Together, let's ensure more connection, for everyone.
Put 21 December in your agenda and join a warm finale
On 21 December, the year’s shortest day, Daenens organises a special moment during the campaign’s event in Bruges. At 3.25 pm, some colleagues will be sharing their experiences live from the initiative’s event headquarters, Het Warmste Huis. We call on all our employees and stakeholders to join us in filling this day with warmth and a feeling of connection. More details will follow soon, but make sure this day is in your agenda!
